FILE - This Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2023, booking photo provided by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office shows former Memphis Police Officer Demetrius Haley in Memphis, Tenn. Four of five former Memphis police officers charged with murder in the beating death of Tyre Nichols cannot work as law enforcement officers again in Tennessee, a state panel decided Friday, March 24, 2023. The Peace Officer Standards & Training Commission, or P.O.S.T.
Texas will hire them
Here's the problem... Cops never get this type of scrutiny. Unless they are black themselves. It's always the black police officers that actually get in trouble.
The left hates black law enforcement. All of these officers are black.
ONLY TENNESSEE
So a new state will hire them I'm sure
That should be
So they’ll go to Kentucky
Well duh.
All police officers were also black. They were all new hires under Memphis' new policy to lower the standards in hiring police officers after having gutted their police departments with budget cuts.
Soon to be employed in Kentucky
ONLY FOUR?!?!?!
Looks like Alabama or Mississippi just got themselves some new “law enforcement” officers?
Should be a Nationwide ban .
'In Tennessee?' Look out, every other state
Next stop Florida!
They shouldn’t be free
MontcoCourtNews Well they got charged with murder. Why are they able to solicit any job other than ones within the confines of penitentiary walls?
AKippieloo Before long FL will be inviting them to join DeS private police force.
TheRealCoryElia ABOLISH POLICE.
Killing is wrong, don't do it.
‘In Tennessee’ because god forbid we have a national database that doesn’t let cops just move like the church shuffles priests around.
We need a national registry to keep track of cops like these. So that they can’t just go to another state or something
Just four.
bee131996 What about the other 49 states we have?
That seems like it should be obvious not news
So where's the nationwide data base to prevent them from going else where?
Y’all really couldn’t choose another link photo huh? FFS
This should be the case for all officers involved in such unsavory behavior.
Why is that even a point of contention? They shouldn't be able to be cops anywhere and should spend the rest of their lives in jail. That should apply to all cops.
But it's ok to work as police officer in other states! but y'all already knew that
Should be everywhere. NoGypsyCops
Well, that's something, but there are 49 other states they could work in.
Commonsense decisions for 400, Alex.
NationalLawEnforcementDatabase
There's always Florida
4 police officers move to Texas
They shouldn't be allowed to join any law enforcement agency anywhere in the US!
slaughter houses need help......got refs
COMMON SENSE.
looks like Kentucky picked up 4 new officers!
Why aren’t they headed to prison?
Now make it that simple for white or white presenting police officers who kill black folks or other nonwhites.
It should be every state. Where are the murder charges
That's cool, they can go work for Fox News now.
JFC, does those man they are coming to FLORIDA?
Florida will probably take them
Just Tennessee..?
They'll just go to another state but gj I guess?
Straight to Florida would be my guess.
Good.
Extract such mindsets, root and stem, from our public services. More meaningful responses: 1. These individuals should NEVER be allowed in such services anywhere in the non-contiguous US. 2. Actions to remove such in all police departments, and their Union.
but they can move and get a job as a police officer in another state... They should be banned from the profession altogether.
None of these murdering officers and et al should ever see the light of day!!
They will just move to Kentucky or Georgia
Hopefully because they are locked up for murder.
This photo choice is unnecessary and inhumane.
West Memphis Arkansas is just a quick drive over the bridge.
We need a national registry of these abusers in blue.
