The construction of the Federal-funded RM18.5 million Lower Syariah Court in Kampung Benoni, Papar, will be completed by August, next year.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said the project, which was approved in 2018, has received additional funding of RM3.5 million for landfilling works.

“The project started its construction on Aug 29, 2020, and is expected to be completed by Aug 25, 2024,” he said while adding the work progress is at 7.98 per cent now, which is ahead of schedule.
