The Manhattan district attorney's office and Trump's lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, had no comment. A message was left for court administrators. "Democrats have investigated and attacked President Trump since before he was elected - and they've failed every time," campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said in a statement Thursday about the inquiry.Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office has apparently been examining whether any state laws were broken in connection with the payments or the way Trump's company compensated Cohen for his work to keep the women's allegations quiet.

Cohen and federal prosecutors said the company paid him $420,000 to reimburse him for the $130,000 payment to Daniels and to cover bonuses and other supposed expenses. The company classified those payments internally as legal expenses.

Look I don't really see the purpose of the arrest. I mean are they intending to violate the constitution against the EX-president of the United States. They didn't seem to treat Hillary the same way. If not that's a violation of the 14th Amendment.

The same NY that has police leaving en masse? NY can really stir up some shit. This will also backfire on libs and stoke the Trump supporters.

The point they make might not be the one they want to make. Namely, that the system cannot be fixed by participating in it.
