ICC judges issue arrest warrant for Putin over war crimes in Ukraine

The ICC has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for war crimes committed in Ukraine.The ICC issued the warrant for Putin’s arrest on suspicion of unlawful deportation of children and unlawful transfer of people from the territory of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.that the court was expected to issue warrants, the first in its investigation into the Ukraine conflict.

Separately the court issued warrants for Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, Russia’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights, on the same charges.

This is like getting a letter from Blockbuster saying you owe fees.

The same ICC that backed down to the USA when the USA declared they wouldn’t extradite their own soldiers to face war crime trials over war crimes committed in Iraq and Afghanistan? Yeah, sorry but the ICC has ZERO credibility. 🤦🏻‍♂️
