PETALING JAYA: An arrest warrant was issued by the Terengganu Election Court for Mohd Nor Hamzah for failing to appear to testify at the Election petition hearing for the Marang parliamentary seat.

The order was issued by High Court Judge Datuk Hassan Abdul Ghani who was sitting as an Election Judge after the petitioner's lawyer, Muhammad Amin Othman requested an arrest warrant be issued against the Bukit Payong assemblyman.

However, Mohd Nor failed to appear in court and the hearing for the Marang election petition will continue on March 19.
