Political financing law should have been enacted before GE15, says Azalina FMTNews

Law and institutional reform minister Azalina Othman Said said the law to govern political financing was on Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s radar.

The law and institutional reform minister said it should have been formulated at the same time as the anti-hopping law, Malaysiakini reported.“We need political financing laws during election time,” Azalina was quoted as saying, adding that such laws were on Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s radar. “I am looking at all sorts . Personally, I want to resolve problems faced by the rakyat matters concerning bankruptcy.”
