They have to keep those private sector prison cell at their guaranteed 85% level somehow. Especially now that people busted for having a joint on them, and those whose DNA is exonerating them, is reducing the imprisoned population.
Repeat offenders are not reformable so lengthy incarceration is simply the only remedy. The past 60 years of alternative “punishments” have glaringly failed with one exception; Capital Punishment.
Good! Repeal the ridiculous war on drugs and fill our prisons with people who actually deserve to be there!!!!
