THERE is this very interesting interview, allegedly from the 1400s, in which someone asked French King Francis I about his rival and brother-in-law, Spanish King Charles V with whom he had been locked in a 60-year war over the control of Italy.

Hypocrisy. Of. New. Malaysia.

The most brilliant article from The Star.

Khairykj Agree

Oh..indubitably, thats how we roll right now

Wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it, right is right even if no one is doing it.. backtobasic Integrity

Khairykj No it's not

Where's ambiga?

Khairykj Rule of jungle

What money?

Good article, finally someone at the star with balls to call it as he sees it instead of sucking PH’s ⚽️ Well done!

one word, hypocrisy, that is the real unifying term for Malaysia Baharu

Nop!

Very good article - the writer is SPOT ON ! It's a classic case of 'the pot calling the kettle black'!!

Khairykj Yes. Bcoz we are the running Gov.

In the picture, it's rm5 and rm1 notes, hardly your usual rasuah money. More like duit minyak atau duit tapau.

Susah payah bersatu hati & tenaga vote untuk malaysia baru tapi mentaliti lama masih beraja, rakyat jugak yang menderita

Finally a writer that put his name and picture to his words. 👍🤙💪

Khairykj This is not ok. Whichever parties did this, it’s a BIG NO

Khairykj 🤑

corruption and bribery everywhere.

Khairykj Now, everyone can question pakatanharapan_ ! Who DARE to question when umnoonline + barisanasional does it?

Best question ever..pls ask the leaders of the party as well.

Khairykj ada ker logik nak bagi rasuah depan org ramai..bangang apa..huhuhu..

Nop not ok

Well I think if this reporter received money for something he has done is a form of bribery?

Khairykj Apparently some Malaysians r dumb they can’t tell the difference btw paying campaign workers and bribing voters

U are definitely right! Although the Malay Sultan also need to abide to the law but PH is exceptional.

Before, cash is king. Now, cash is trouble-making. Moral of story... Do not distribute cash in public.

Khairykj Spot on

Not exactly — however when we accord others the same “opportunities” to behave like us, either then do we see how wrong we’ve been OR it’s really NO BIG DEAL in the first place. 😉

Khairykj Man in “Red “ only can 🙄

Kita tak ada di tempat kejadian. So it really is shade of gray. Dah kalau yg dibayar tu memang VOLUNTEER, ie. Jentera kempen, then ok la. Different story if it is VOTERS, ie. Tok Batin punya gaji. So wanted a ruling? Go to COURT la. Not MEDIA.

They were wearing the party's uniform n only reimbursing the necessary expanses.

Of course it is okay, as long as PH is the one doing it. If it is BN, it definitely falls under ‘Not Okay’ category. As simple as that. Because that’s the rule in Malaysia today.

Paying is wrong, even if only RM5. It is called bribes. Why PH has to compare wo what BN does?

PH is now starting to decent down a slippery slop. Nor back pedaling by the senator or its explanation for financial reimbursement should be taken likely. The victims here are the poor that are threaten or used as pawns by the bigger power. I support PH but now am wary.

nichocheng Note to consider: 1) The one's receiving the money are in party uniform thus are party workers/volunteers. 2) No one in the right mind would give out money in such open manner if its a bribery!
