Short-term rental owners say they should be able to use their homes how they please.

CityOfDallas needs to address this before the 2026 World Cup gets here instead of kicking the can another 2 years. People will pay of a whole year of property taxes with a single rental during that time.

Bottom line, with 2 competing claims of property rights, the ZONING clearly states that there is no approved commercial use or lodging use in areas zoned for residential.
