Addressing journalists, the leader of the group and former Commissioner in the state, Alhaji Nura Dankadai, said releasing Doguwa would amount to subversion of justice and lack of sympathy and compassion for the affected people in the areas. “As we’re approaching the governorship election on March 11, releasing the accused person can constitute a serious security threat to the peaceful conduct of the election,” Dankadai said.
He called on the federal government, Inspector General of Police, Director General of Department of State Service as well as all relevant stakeholders, to intervene in ensuring justice and fairness prevail.All rights reserved.
