Kevin McCarthy is Taking a Page Out of the Ron DeSantis “Anti-Woke” Education Playbook

to pass through the GOP-led House later this year, is clearly not going anywhere — not with Democrats in control of the Senate andin the White House. But the point here for Republicans isn’t to enact the legislation. It’s an attempt to replicate the messaging that’s worked so well for DeSantis as they seek to expand their House majority and take back the Senate and White House in 2024.

Aslast month, the GOP — otherwise deeply divided — appears to be uniting around a so-called “protect the children” platform for next year’s election.
