Over half a million public servants and veterans will fall under the umbrella of the government’s proposed model of superannuation tax according to the Federal Opposition.

They are warning hundreds of thousands of super funds would travel with inflation to meet the $3 million tax threshold.

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says the Coalition government are “absolutely dead against it” and is promising to repeal the legislation if elected in 2025.

I wonder when will cop a Dominion style lawsuit for spreading lies it's presenters and execs know are not true.

So? Even if you retire at 65 and live for 30 years, $3mil balance means $100k per year. Most people with $3mil in super will own their home, so $100k should be more than enough to live on. Plus it’s not preventing you from growing your super balance past $3mil.
