Justice had a different meaning in 1969 than it does in 2023. Then it was principally the virtue of the state, in dispensing corrective and distributive justice. In the personal realm, the just performed their contractual obligations without cheating anyone. They paid the just price of things they bought and would refuse to take advantage of the known neediness of sellers who desperately required cash.

opinion Finally

opinion To equate it with food. We have an excess of junk justice. It doesn't last long, is addictive and doesn't do you any good. We need good, wholesome full bodied justice for the health of our civilisation. Trump not being in jail, no war crimes for Bush and Blair, it's not healthy.

opinion How is America's Apartheid Justice System any different today than it's been since Semites (identifying as WASPs & Spaniards) and Subsaharan Africans arrived in 1619 and began killing Original Celt, Caucasian & Asian Americans and stealing their land?

opinion Justice is important. But it’s defined not by our standard, but by the Lord’s standard. We have definitely redefined justice over time. But the answer isn’t to redefine it again, or to go back to an old definition. The answer is to define it based on God’s definition in His Word.
