As expected.

They have! Pay ur own debt!

How did Kavanagh pay his debts

Be assured this superem court will do all they can to hurt common evertday Americans, thats what they've done and will continue to do. BANK ON IT!!!!.

Considering that Congress delegated financial authority for student loan programs to the dept. Of Ed in 2003, with out a time limit, and have never taken it back, I wonder if any on the SC has contemplated what that would do to aby authority that Congress has delegated, ever.

Okay cancel my SBA loan I had to take to rebuild my home after losing everything to the 2016 flood.

Every adult receives the same amount or no one. NO JUSTICE NO PEACE!

One of them sits on the court because of Mitch McConnell exceeding authority, so expecting at least one recusal.

they think joe has ability to just waste 400billion without congressional approval.

Cause it did. Pay your own fucking debt and that’s coming from someone with plenty of student loan debt. I agreed to borrow it, I should pay it back. This is adulting 101…

Call me shocked

Illegal

Conservative = the justices who actually follow the law.

You hear that millennials and gen z?

What we need is to reduce the cost of college. But not make it free. Anything free is not “free” , tax payers fund it. Whose gonna pay the professors? The colleges’ bills and costs to run? There needs to be some “skin in the game”

50% of the people who would benefit from the write-off don't want it. All taxpayers are getting ripped off... again.

Erasing pandemic loans to business was OK though?

Of course he exceeded his authority. It was an election ploy

MarcGoldwein LHSummers jasonfurman That is why I told Biden if he wanted to get loan forgiveness passed he needed to do it via Congress but instead of following the law POTUS got embarrassed for not doing so.

If they block this program the Republicans will lose the under 50 vote for decades if not forever.

as much as I believe in cancelling student debt, I don't think most Americans have a clear understanding of the logistics involved here. that said, it's essentially gonna bankrupt major student loan services, which is fine as they're underwater and getting bought out anyway.

It’s not “wipe away” it’s shifted onto others. Please be accurate

Skeptical of conservative justices' judgments since neither plaintiff has any standing

Standing is the only question here.

Good!

Surprise!

huh

Poor people aren't intelligent enough to complete college in the first place so why should we pay for their mistakes?

Of course they do.

How a Supreme Court justice's paragraph put the Voting Rights Act in more dangerJustice Neil Gorsuch tacked on a handful of sentences to a 2021 Supreme Court ruling, planting the seeds of a legal fight that could further weaken Voting Rights Act protections for people of color. Yeah, you people are independent 🤣🙄🤮 What are these protections they are being stripped of? Never specific examples… just vague statements of doom and gloom… which is contrary to recent election turnouts. It seems this argument is detached from reality. And why wouldn't he? What possible consequences does he face? Lifetime appointment, almost 100% guarantee you won't be impeached so why wouldn't they become radicalized?
