“It has to be okay to vote no, first because that’s just the way it should be in the contest of ideas, but also if people feel pressured, the backlash will only hurt the yes case – it’ll backfire so tone is everything.”

Politics needs to stay out of sport period.
The major sporting codes will always side with the minority left these days. Not that I disagree with indigenous people having a voice but the blatant virtue signalling from especially the NRL is gross.
Politics is destroying my love for sport. Watching sport is an escape for me. A way of shifting my mind to a happier place for a short time. But now I'm getting politics entering a place it should not be.
