Not everything a political opponent does breaks the law. In the case of Trump's 'perfect call,' the ex-president sounded like he actually thought he was cheated.

Thank God that someone has the guts to concede that not everything one’s adversary does is criminal.that the audiotape of then-President Trump asking Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” 11,780 votes on Jan. 2, 2021, may not be the smoking gun many media outlets have claimed it to be, so long as he genuinely believed that improprieties existed that needed to be corrected.

No doubt Trump’s lawyers would argue to a jury that their client truly believed he had won the election in Georgia. But would such an argument present a reasonable doubt that Trump in fact had a corrupt intent when he telephoned Raffensberger to coerce just enough votes to change the election result?

There is simply no reasonable doubt that Trump attempted to enlist Raffensberger’s assistance to overturn the legitimate result of the vote in Georgia.Goldberg makes the argument that it would be difficult for a jury to convict Trump in the Georgia case because the former president pretended that he really thought he had been cheated.

Do you remember when news organizations use to be unbiased, I didn't think so.

Nope, he is not a criminal until convicted. But should Trump be indicted and tried, absolutely. The well supported suspicion is too weighty for simple news commentary or the latest opinion poll. The full scope of his potential malfeasance strikes at the heart of our Republic.

Are you fucking kidding me? Of course he is a criminal. He committed a felony!

Really, trying to get the SOS to find votes after the election has been counted is not a crime?

The former president only cares about one thing: himself. He could give 2 shyts about trying to move this country forward, governing, or even honoring the Constitution. I just hope an apathetic electorate will do what’s necessary to 45, as well as the FL Governor, out of the WH.

MAGAs will find any crackpot theory to defend their Criminal in Chief.

Mob talk: 'Go behind Tony and do him up.' 😂Doesn't sound criminal at all. 🤡👿

Nonsense

He is a criminal, everyone around him either is under investigation or has been charged. He has countless lawsuits on his hands. Not because he’s so popular but because he cheats and lies his way through everything. Businessman yes, moral or ethical persons FUCK no. No integrity

Like hell it doesn’t

Yes it does
