Caloocan LGU conducts orientation on Anti-Violence Against Women and Children, Safe Spaces Act for biz sector

In celebration of the upcoming Women’s Month, the city government of Caloocan conducted an orientation on Republic Act 9262 or The Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act, and Republic Act 11313 or The Safe Space Act to business sectors in the city.The program, led by Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, was held at the Bulawagan ng Katipunan on Saturday, Feb. 25.

“Bukod po sa mga oportunidad at trabahong hatid ng ating Pamahalaang Lungsod, nais din natin na siguraduhing na nasa ligtas at maayos na kalagayan ang ating mga kababayan sa kanilang mga pinapasukang trabaho ,” the city mayor added. Meanwhile, Public Employment Service Office Officer-in-Charge Violeta Gonzales said the orientation was also part of the learning series facilitated by PESO and the council.
