The government needs the support of the Greens and two other crossbenchers .
Key crossbencher David Pocock will continue consultations on the government's proposed changes to the safeguard mechanism, which would lower the emissions cap for big polluters. The government needs the support of the Greens and two other crossbenchers to pass the mechanism, its housing fund and its manufacturing fund. The ACT independent says he will continue to work constructively to get the best outcome from each proposal. The Greens have raised concerns that the changes to the safeguard mechanism won't stop large polluters, who can buy carbon credits to offset emissions.
We need to hold Labor accountable for their ongoing fossil fuel exploration licences
Good on him 👏
Even as a young man, David held progressive views on issues of importance.
David well knows how to get his thoughts on emissions heard.
Even when he was young, David was progressive in mind, body and soul.
Don’t be distracted by the greens, look at it from both sides - somewhere in the middle left/right you’ll find the answer.
Where is our absentee landlord PM. Still at a smoking ceremony with spear chuckers.

the russians know how to reduce emissions in the EU but not in india.........interesting
I love this guy! 💪🏼
Finally! Someone is going after China.
oi DavidPocock - you should take a firm stand against new fossil fuel // coal and gas projects, too. Join the Greens in taking the *ONLY* principled position that exists - stopping new fossil fuel infrastructure ASAP. Everything else is window dressing until then.
