South Carolina lawmakers in the House of Representatives passed a bill that bans abortion after conception, exercising its rights after the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The Republican-led state of Mississippi asked the Supreme Court to strike down a lower court ruling that stopped the 15-week abortion ban from taking place.

"Roe and Casey arrogated that authority," he opined."We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives."South Carolina’s proposed bill to ban abortion makes note of the Supreme Court’s decision and that the state is exercising its political power to secure the rights to life for unborn children.

As for penalties, anyone who violates the law could be fined up to $10,000 and serve up to two years in prison.

This is a stupid move. The Dobbs decision hurt the GOP in the midterms. We need to legalize abortion pills by mail. Problem solved.
