They died because he was going 116 in a 30 before hitting a brick wall on a turn. The impact probably immediately killed them. Nothing is probably surviving that. Impact is probably reason the battery blew up. Stop blaming others for people dying because they did something stupid

The battery did not cause the death. Read the story. The kid was a passenger in a vehicle driven around a dangerous 20mph curve going in excess of 115 miles by another teenager that was pulled over for reckless driving not long before and idiotic parents that let their teen drive
