French producers attack U.S. decision on foie gras ban

I’m not a big fan of force-feeding ducks & geese to ruin their liver so it’s tastier. And I thought factory farms were bad.

Thank you Supreme Court.

Not to mention every toxin present in those animals got filtered....you guessed it from the liver. So you force-feed them, you give them antibiotics, good only knows what hormones, and food probably soaked in pesticides, and then you eat it's liver. Gross. And cruel

Typical hypocracy. Foie is evil but we have Ag-gag laws in US preventing whistle blowing on large scale meat farms.

We put children in cages. Yea, USA!

Sorry France, love you , thanks for the statue, but there is NO reason for the cruelty done for that stuff.

At last, a sensible decision out of Washington.

If presented with the food source, geese will self-feed at the levels required to turn the liver fatty enough to be considered Foie Gras. In fact 'ethical' foie is becoming preferred to archaic methods thanks to the work of folks like Dan Barber and Eduardo Sousa.

They don't do haggis either. They prefer to eat MaccyDs and die of obesity.
