Let's not forget that a driver ahead of you who is not doing the free right red turn just may be seeing something, a car trying to make it under yellow, a bicyclist trying to cross the street in the last moment, a pedestrian, that you might not be able to see. Let's be graceful!
Some drivers free turn on red without checking if a kid or elderly person or someone in dark outfit at night is on the crosswalk. Those locations / intersections just need to be posted 'No Right Turn On Red.' Why another law?! Nothing better to do? Jeesh!

How will this be enforced? The best way to change driver behavior is with enforcement. Hire more Motor Officers to patrol major roads.

What I would actually like to see is more left turn lights but in areas where it's impossible to get through the intersection because of all the oncoming cars. You have to sit in the middle of the intersection until the light turns red that would make way more sense to me.
Can't stand being behind a driver that has a free right turn (especially with cars turning left in front of it) that just sits there and waits for the light to change. So damn irritating!

One would think there are much more pressing issues to focus their time and energy. A few examples might be rampant crime, rampant drug, an ailing economy. Glad our local politicians have their priorities straight.

This is a Puget sound issue not statewide. Add an all way walk to the light cycle in the cities. Don't mess with rural areas. It's a much cleaner solution.

It should be limited. Myself, any time there is someone standing at an intersection I do not take a free right. Its an invitation to hit someone. Pedestrians do stupid things like cross against lights, jaywalk, etc. They are hard to see with their dark clothing in winter as well.
