The letter states that seven days after the incident was reported, the Toronto police officer assigned to the case got back to the cyclist advising them that the driver had been charged with “not allowing you to have the lane.”
“But for the intentional act of the motorist using their vehicle to hit and/or run our client off the road, this cyclist would not have had to take evasive measures and subsequently crashed into the curb,” he writes. “We see an endless stream of violence on our streets with none of this performative mobilization of the police force used by TPS and Mayor Tory to justify budget increases.”
All this video shows is a Cyclist cutting across 2 lanes between cars. And then proceeding to drive in the middle of the right lane. You can see the yellow line way before he gets in the correct side of the street. Nice try though.

Well the bottom line is this. If TorontoPolice TPSMyronDemkiw do not like you or they don't like a specific group, for whatever reason, & they ever require the assistance of police, the police won't do their job.
And the TorontoPolice TrafficServices TPSMyronDemkiw REFUSE to charge this driver appropriately. Once again more evidence of what happens when the police black list people. Why are Toronto Police Officers allowed to refuse to charge the wrong doer?
I've been many times on both sides. When I am on the bike, I need to be careful all the time, cars are coming. On the other side, I need to be careful for the bikes, always. But.... Big Boys Don't Cry.

I failed to see how the cyclist was run off the road when the car was half in the lane. Looks more like the cyclist was looking around after he cut that car off and just lost control.
It appears the cyclist cut off another motor vehicle. Not sure where the 'homophobic' occured in the video. Hopefully it's not another Jussie Smollett type incident where a story was made up to fit a narrative. Running someone off the road is also not right by any means.
All I saw in the video was the cyclist cutting off the white car at the beginning. No evidence of 'homophobic slurs'. After driving in Toronto for 35 years, this cyclists lack of obeying the rules of the road is about what I would expect. Would be nice to see the whole video.
