The previous government’s decisions for deporting criminals back to their own country “were very popular” and “it seems extraordinary” for the Albanese government to be reversing those decisions, says Sky News Brisbane Bureau Chief Adam Walters.

“For the PM to flip on this defies any reasonable analysis,” Mr Walters told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “It seems to make perfect sense these sentences should be served elsewhere if the crimes have been committed here.”

Hope Albo gets booted out. His mumbling is nauseating.

Adam will tell the other half of the story as soon as he learns to read

Really…who were they popular with …OneNationAus voters and the party of paedophile enabling fans LiberalAus ?

Popular with you right wing near fascists. Reporting your own bosses comments as the people’s opinion. 🙄 Grow up. Humans live here. Humanity.

Not sky”News” should be Sky “ paid comment” time for a RC into Murdoch

AlboMP stands for the import of ISIS brides and rights for foreign criminals. Nice.

The government has changed; all the shit policies of the of the previous 🤡 show will go. That is measurably popular. You fossils banging on about it being 'extraordinary' is not news.

A reminder that Sky “News” is actually just right wing propaganda.

Popular with whom?

No reversing. Some slight easing on NZ eligibility for deportation. One day your lot will learn to speak truth.

Albo just another case of a demented Biden..he must change everything Scommo done. His pathetic. WTF should Aussie taxpayers pay to keep other countries criminals here in jail for frigging years. Deport the bastards back to their own countries to serve time there.

Especially Kiwis 🤪🤪🤪

Says News Corpse hack with zero evidence and credibility.

Popular makes it right then?

I doubt that Albanese, Marles, Bowen amd Wong could form 1 full brain between them.

Albo& Labor are SOFT on Crime

All his union mates and their mates were being deported?

He wants to make Australia a cesspool like the US. No consequences for immigrants that commit crimes.

More Sky News crp.

'Said some guy in our office' Cool story bro. Budget cutbacks?

Rupert, don’t you understand the difference between doing what’s popular and what’s right? No, I thought not.

this is exactly why News Corps are the lest trusted News Media in Austrealia Numerous surveys reveal that News Corporation is the least trusted media in Australia, particularly its mastheads, the Melbourne Sun, the Courier Mail and the Daily Telegraph.

The previous FILTHY Government was deporting New Zealanders even though they had spent most of their lives here in Australia and had most of their family HERE in Australia... LNPFilthNeverAgain

Popular is not the same as right.

How dare the govt have empathy

Hearing good things about LNP at today’s royal commission.RobodebtRC

Well done to the 32% that voted for this crap show The ALP - putting aussies last.

How dare our government show any sense of maturity, diplomacy, and accountability, and not play politics with these things

What do you expect from a leftie like Albo.

Adam who?

Typical Sky gaslighting ... read the changes - they are not reversing totally.

Democracy is the only system where a majority can want something and they are guaranteed to not get it.

Albo is all about reversing any policies that actually worked and devised by the LNP. If this was high school, I’d think he was doing it out of spite.

Yep. Albo was trying to impress Jacinda 🙄 guess what? SHE’S GONE!
