For-profit only channels money to investors and its associated bureaucracy. It does zip to add doctors, nurses or hospitals. Socialization of the costs to privatise the profits has to stop! This is a ridiculous take. Is Canada’s healthcare system broken? Sure. Is the solution private care? No. We have a capacity issue that won’t be solved by allowing private for profit companies to compete with publicly funded hospitals. This is ridiculous. That’s the Liberal way. Keep repeating the same talking points and sheep hear it enough times they believe it. Freeland does it all the time when she says her budgets are modest and fiscally responsible.
