On this day in history, Jan. 22, 1973, the Supreme Court made its decision in the historic abortion regulation court case — Roe v. Wade. The 7-2 ruling stood for nearly 50 years.

The opinion said, in part,"Nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law," as Britannica noted. In one of the most interesting twists connected to the case,"Jane Roe" — Norma McCorvey — did not have the abortion she had pushed for after all.

She was 22, unmarried, unemployed and pregnant for the third time in 1969 when she fought for the right to have an abortion in Texas. But by the time the Supreme Court rendered its decision establishing abortion rights in 1973, she had already given birth — and given up her baby girl for adoption. A portrait of Norma McCorvey , who years after the Roe v. Wade decision underwent a conversion and joined the anti-abortion movement. She passed away at age 69 in 2017.

Roe literally lied saying she was gang raped because she didn't want a third kid. She admitted it in the 90s.

So tell us, how were they able to back and reverse this decision unless it was politically motivated and not being able to find the leaker is a laugh, they know, but for the politics not disclosed, liars all.

The argument was based on a lie.

And they were horrible at being lawyers of the constitution. They literally created a law out of nothing. A first year law student could defeat this ruling.

Look their is the woman that lied all the years ago... Remember when that woman admitted she lied and felt responsible for all the infant genocide... I'm old enough to remember her admitting she lied, and felt bad for it.

And we wiped our asses with it last year!

I'm glad that this day stands out - as the wrong way to do things. The Dems, frustrated in not being able to pass a law in Congress, to properly enact such a significant action, went to the SC and talked them into doing what they couldn't.

On this day that doesn’t mean shit anymore
