THE Supreme Court has granted provisional liberty to the former chief of staff of former Senate president Juan Ponce Enrile.In its resolution issued on January 17, the Supreme Court granted the petition for Habeas Corpus filed by Jessica Lucila Reyes.

By then, justice delayed would truly be denied,' the SC First Division said in its resolution, a copy of which was obtained by The Manila Times.The High Court stressed that it holds that Reyes' petition for habeas corpus must be granted, 'without prejudice to the resolution of pending criminal cases filed against her.''As We emphasized at the outset, Our ruling in this case does not adjudge the guilt or innocence of the petitioner.
