A new court filing shows that the former University of Alabama basketball player charged with murder after the shooting near the campus on Sunday allegedly provided the gun to the other suspect.

The deposition filed with the court on Tuesday said that Darius Miles, 21, provided the gun Michael Davis, 20, allegedly used to shoot and kill Jamea Harris, 23, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Sunday.Miles admitted to providing Davis with the gun"immediately prior to the shooting," the deposition said.

Both suspects were accused of firing a gun at a car where Harris was the passenger. The driver in the car exchanged gunfire and has a non-life-threatening wound. The university’s athletics department confirmed shortly after the shooting that Miles"is no longer a member of the Alabama men’s basketball team."Miles and Davis are being held without bond after both were charged with capital murder.
