no thank you i dont want a murderer on the streets

Was it Hammer time? You can't touch this You can't touch this You can't touch this (oh-oh oh oh oh-oh-oh) You can't touch this (oh-oh oh oh oh-oh-oh)

This will set a dangerous precedent. All intimate human relationships can involve some form of manipulation. I'm the same way she was free to go shopping, she was free to leave the home and not kill.

I lived with a similar man for many years but thank god i got out, but for about 15 to 20 years after he still tried everything in his power to continue to control me!! Never felt the urge to hit him with a hammer but often wished someone else would!!!

From what I hear he deserved it, and she should never have been prosecuted. But in fairness, I wasn't on the jury and we cant trust the media.

Since when is it ok to excuse someone murdering their spouse in cold blood?

Hold on, so they had split up she checked his phone and he had called a woman so she whacked him 20 times in the back of the head with a hammer that she’d conveniently had kicking about in her handbag!? Yeah, she’s the victim here 😄

fear this wouldn't be happening if this was a man it's sad and disgraceful that these kind of laws have a silent social biased against men I'm bet there's many men here who have seen other men with controlling women

Being a scumbag doesn't justify having a hammer in the back of the head she chose to go back to him with the hammer in her bag she wasn't in fear of her life she checked his phone found something she didn't like then caved his head in sounds like murder to me

u n t i l her COURT of APPEAL h e a r i n g NEXT m o n t h WHAT percentage of the FIVE HOURS of WEEKLY vicderbyshire AIRTIME w i l l THIS t a k e U P ? 2 5 to 4 9 percent ? 5 0 to 7 4 percent ? 7 5 to one HUNDRED p e r c e n t ?

No-way.

His back was turned to her when she attacked him, so the poor man didn't have any chance. Also why would she carry a hammer in her bag, if she did not plan his murder in advance?

What!!!?

So if your wife/husband says something you don't like or disagree with you can hit them with a hammer. Which is worse ? Really !!!

Do the crime, STOP do the hammer time

Do your editors consider time of broadcast:likely viewing profile when including full graphic details of the killing - 6pm - family audience - teatime? If not, why not? irresponsible

MURDER is Murder................had 30yrs to get out of the situation, murdering him HE WINS AGAIN she is the one in prison!!

Yeah, that whole 'If I cant have him, no one can.' will fly really well with the courts.

He just wants his hammer back! 🤪

She a murderer tho

Still a premeditated killing.

If his behaviour was as repugnant as that, the outcome is probably no great surprise.

'impose stringent conditions, such as not interrupting him and not talking to other people when they were together in restaurants.' Nice guy!

I do believe wife beaters deserve to be beaten to death with a hammer but if she’d already left him and was trying to get back with him, this sounds more like jealousy than revenge

Apart from 1 all the sick, nasty and twisted comments are from men. As a survivor of domestic abuse you lot are just as bad as that horrible piece of shit she killed. Good for her. Oh..and if a man was being abused, yes he would have the same treatment as abuse is abuse 😠😠

P r o s e c u t i n g COUNSEL in her TRIAL The JUDGE in her TRIAL BOTH on a C R I M I N A L BAR B L A C K L I S T for W H A T they D I D ?

T H O U S AN D S of HARPIES THREATEN to go on H U N G E R S T R I K E IF T H I S CONVICTED M U R D E R E R a} does NOT have her SENTENCE Q U A S H E D b} is N O T AWARDED M A S S I V E COMPENSATION for being W R O N G L Y C O N V I C T E D

Surprised they split, seemed well suited.. Pair of nut jobs..

If that was a man who did that to his wife under the same circumstances would society be so forgiving & understanding? No & neither would the BBC. Female Privilege strikes again. She killed him in cold blood & is using gender to get away with murder. Shame on society & the law

No.

i s there A N Y c i r c u m s t a n c e in w h i c h a W O M A N who M U R D E R S her H U S B A N D S I M P L Y S E R V E S her L I F E SENTENCE W I T H O U T PEDDLING L E G A L Q U A C K E R Y LIKE T H I S ?

Yet when I asked her if I could borrow her hammer she said she didn't have one the lying bitch

The article states after splitting up she visited the home to try to work out some agreement. She went out to get some grocercies 'on her return she picked up his phone, rang the last number he had dialled and found it answered by a woman.' She then killed him with a hammer.

Doesn't matter what you or anybody else wants . Everyone should be treated the same. She killed and should now rot. End of story

Doesn't matter if she was in an abusive relationship. Society says you can't brutally beat someone to death with a hammer while they're having their dinner. The hints of premeditation make it absolutely ridiculous an appeal would even been considered.

Women want, and deserve, equality in all aspects of life. This has is to include criminal reponsiblity.

as long as she promises not to do it again

It was a cold blooded murder. She’d left him. The abuse was behind her. She went armed to kill.

Bang bang maxwells silver hammer came down upon her head

It’s still murder

Don’t pick up insanity.

🔨 time 😂

These people should learn to calm their 'Kelas'.
