Two days after a Sydney mother's body was found in a western Sydney unit, her alleged killer has been spared from making a court appearance. 9News

While her father, Garry English, was present for the mention, the accused killer was excused from appearing, either in the courtroom or by AVL.While Isaac had known Sultana for a while, the pair had only dated for a few months before the young mother's body was found in a Penrith apartment on Monday afternoon.

A burned-out car belonging to the mother of two was found in bushland nearby and is being examined by police. Sultana was arrested in Cranebrook on Tuesday morning before being taken to Penrith Police Station and charged with murder.Paul Sultana was spared facing court after he was charged with murder."I just want to urge everyone to keep an open mind until the actual facts come out and then we'll go from there," he said.A brief of evidence will be served by March 17 when the matter will return to the Penrith courthouse.Help is available from the Men's Referral Service on 1300 766 491.
