But 'Assault Weapons' is a made up term for anything that looks like an Assault Rifle, even though not capable of automatic fire. This ban is Unconstitutional.
I believe in banning Assault Rifles that can be switched to fully automatic fire. In fact,they have been banned without special collectors permits since Bonnie and Clyde died. I believe the penalty for possession of a fully automatic rifle is 15 years in prison and $150K fine.

Constitution trumps “state law”. It is the supreme law of the land. Any state law that directly contradicts our constitution, as an officer you have a duty to ignore that law. This “law” will be challenged and defeated in the courts.
