Why 2 law professors who think Biden's student-loan forgiveness is illegal believe the GOP-led states that blocked the debt relief 'utterly lack standing'

after two conservative-backed lawsuits have blocked the implementation of the relief.

"The standing theories that have been thrown at the wall in these cases are wrong, and many of them would have dangerous implications," the professors wrote. To demonstrate standing, the plaintiffs must prove that they would be injured by the policy, that the injury can be directly traced back to the defendant, and that the relief they're seeking would address those injuries. Bray and Baude argued that the states simply don't meet those requirements.Bray and Baude's central argument is that Missouri should not be bringing this lawsuit.

Additionally, Bray and Baude said that the nationwide pause on the implementation of student-debt relief that the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals placed in response to lawsuit was the wrong decision, and the states"utterly lack standing for the remedy they received."

GOP bill blocks Biden admin from banning gas stoves: ‘Regulation run amok’Dozens of House Republicans introduced legislation this week to block the Biden administration from banning gas stoves, after a consumer protection agency hinted one might be coming. The Republican virtue signaling continues… Just be careful. The left NEVER gives up on it's agenda. I remember a US Senate vote 20 or so years ago which went 90 something to 0 against the Kyoto Treaty. Now we have all it wanted and more. The right never tries to stop or push back, only slow down. The left wins here. Oh look, solving a problem that doesn’t exist! That’s the GOP way. It was one guy from a consumer protection agency who said gas stoves cause 13% of childhood asthma. NO ONE suggested banning stoves altogether. Just another faux culture war.

GOP-led House Judiciary Committee to probe DOJ activity on Biden docsThe GOP-led House Judiciary Committee is launching an investigation related to President Biden's handling of classified documents. The powers that be, do not want him running in 2024, so they are exposing him. Good right? I was assured that mishandled classified documents would lead to millions of deaths a couple months ago. Is that not the case here too? They aren't even letting the DOJ do its job before 'probing' - seriously? Are these guys that bored? Do they really have nothing else to do?
