Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, on Friday, visited the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where he applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for what he described as a bold decision to sign the electoral law, which provides a level playing field for all contenders at elections.
Elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party , Senator Adeleke whose visit to the seat of power after his victory at the poll, said he had come to specifically appreciate Mr. President for providing a level playing field in the election that held in July last year. “The security agencies followed your instruction to be fair and firm, and I am so proud of you. You are a true father, regardless of political party differences.”

Signing the electoral bill into law is the president's parting gift, and greatest democratic contribution. Nigerians are greatful for this. More importantly, it will reduce, if not completely eradicate electoral malpractices, therefore making votes count.
