Assistant Director of Information of the court, Catherine Oby Christopher, in a statement, said the CJ made the appointment in the exercise of his constitutional powers and consequent upon the approval by the Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman, National Judicial Council , Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.
