Valerie's Law debate pushes government to act

A HISTORICAL debate calling for the safeguarding of black women who are victims of domestic and sexual violence to be brought into law could now be added to current legislation.

She spoke of the recent damning incidents that have tarnished trust in the Met following the uproar around Child Q – 15-year-old black girl who was strip-searched by police officers while menstruating. “The trust that black people — and perhaps especially black women — have in the police has been repeatedly damaged in recent months,” she said.

The royal family has a current living member accused of trafficking humans for sexual exploitation…no rules will change..

The campaign to get this far as been a long one.
