Taking the banning and blocking path will not lead Nepal and its citizens to progress.

Nepal’s telecommunications regulator has ordered the country’s internet service providers (ISPs) to block all cryptocurrency trading websites, threatening legal action against those that fail to comply.

While we see other states developing, some others are taking some steps back.

You can block crypto websites, not crypto! Bitcoin is uncensored and uncontrollable.

A poor country that survive in remittance. I wonder who would like to cut off citizens with no VPN skill from saving in fees, maybe, just maybe someone is interested in keeping their monopoly gladstein

This will be a really hard kick for crypto. Nepal is a Goliath in the financial world. I guess see ya in 2025...

A $2 a month VPN will circumvent any website block. The regulators are so misguilded into thinking we all live in their borders. The internet is global. 🤔

Damn. 👀

Would VPN's serve as a quick fix?

why are there countries afraid of crypto?

It's been a 10th time nepal ordered to ban websites but nothing effected as decentralised power going upwards

Eventually ISPs will be obsolete

Just use Chrome Open DNS and Isp ban is ineffective.

Shit like this shows me we’re winning.

Nepal… the heart of the financial world.
