From brianlilley: Police associations have simple message -- enough is enough

Play Video

In total, the four police associations represent 60,000 officers and civilian members. Together they say they want “to further research to fully understand the best remedies, identify what isn’t working, and call for change to ensure that this does not continue.” Too often in Canada, any attempt to “get tough” on these repeat violent offenders is portrayed as following the mistakes of the American justice system where people are locked up for long sentences for small crimes. Activists push this narrative as they seek ever-lighter sentencing provisions, easier bail and reduced police budgets.

brianlilley Taxpayers have the same message.

brianlilley Yes please. And please think twice next time you're ordered to trample a non violent protest.

brianlilley The police are the servants of the courts and communities they serve… they do not dictate policy but are expected to follow the laws and policies of lawmakers…if some police officers can’t do this, it’s time for these individuals to leave… enough is enough.

brianlilley why was this murderer out for 4 months without arrest?

brianlilley And we, the people, are sick and tired of the police force. Always abusing your authority. But the one that gets me the most whatever the government tells you to do, you’ll do. Start sticking up for the people against the government instead of taking the government side.

brianlilley Where is the diversity I see 5 women and 1 black guy the rest look like white guys .. am I wrong ?

brianlilley Well they have the power to clean house , I would start right on the top

brianlilley It's funny watching Conservatives demanding government expand their role but without raising taxes or having a deficit.

brianlilley The Liberals think they have a higher calling. They are right about everything and we are wrong. Too bad coppers.

brianlilley Enough has been enough for quite some time. It is time to start pushing back.

brianlilley fordnation why was the latest alleged criminal held for 6 months without going to trial? Ontario’s legal system needs to get up to speed. Bail is a process used the world over to address inefficiency in Justice systems.

brianlilley what is BrianLilley going to say when the OPP arrests DougFord? That'll be one cognitive dissonance article I look forward to reading.

brianlilley Should be a very special law that should protect the Police and all those in uniform :Whoever hurts anyone in uniform should face death penalty!

brianlilley Are they actually looking for public sympathy? After the last 2 years they get not a single tear of pitty. Until there is accountability for their actions they stand with the woke 'anti fascists'' who hate them.

brianlilley Does this mean our law enforcement agencies are going to start arresting the criminal politicians destroying this country or nah?

brianlilley Speaking of cops. How's the OPP inquiry going into Ford's insider dealings with developers on the Greenbelt?

brianlilley That’s weird, all I keep hearing is ‘give us more money with less accountability’.

brianlilley Well quit supporting Trudeau and his puppets

brianlilley Police Unions also encourage their members to vote Liberal. You're getting what you voter for

brianlilley Fact is there was an arrest warrant out for this guy — and police failed to act on it. Police have to do their jobs, too, or the system breaks down.

brianlilley 'Tom Stamatakis, president of the Canadian Police Association, said that cops aren’t looking for a “tough on crime” approach but believe something has to change to deal with repeat offenders.' Hiring more donut eaters for your union won't do anything.

brianlilley Defund the police and let the criminals run wild and the system will balance itself.

brianlilley Until there’s a change of government, nothing will change. The government only cares about its own power, not about the people of Canada.

rexglacer brianlilley The associations are so afraid of the woke mob that the article says they don’t want to get tough on crime? That’s the problem right there! -cdnpoli

brianlilley TRUEDIOT IS TOBLAME

brianlilley Looky,looky... Someone is feeling tough 🤣🤣🤣

brianlilley Now they go after people Not after Mobs in crime Against a people simple... Against Mobs, cops Childs!

brianlilley I agree with them. Something has to change

brianlilley Why would anyone want to be a Police Officer these days? Zero respect from criminals and zero support from the Government; who target law abiding citizens instead of criminals when they do toughen up the laws.

brianlilley One us too many.

brianlilley Fund the police 👏👏👏
