The U.S. Supreme Court could decide on Friday whether or not to hear a longshot lawsuit that alleges members of Congress broke their oath of office by certifying the 2020 presidential election.

Light illuminates part of the Supreme Court building at dusk on Capitol Hill in Washington, Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022. The Supreme Court will decide whether to hear a lawsuit from a trio of Utah brothers over claims of election fraud in 2020.A longshot lawsuit by a trio of Utah brothers has captured the imagination of many on the fringes of the political right.

On Friday, two years after a horde of Donald Trump supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol as part of an attempted coup,The lawsuit claims members of Congress violated their oaths of office by allegedly failing to investigate and covering up evidence of foreign election interference that rigged the election against Donald Trump.

Brunson’s suit claims rampant fraud invalidated his vote for Donald Trump in 2020. The complaint asks that the 387 members of Congress who voted to certify Biden’s election be immediately thrown out of office and barred from ever running again. Biden and Harris would also be removed from the White House and banned from running, as would former Vice President Mike Pence.

SchottHappens What this lawsuit confirms is that Utah is becoming rampant with nut job extremists. Stewart and Owens need to speak out against this stupid stuff. They can start by renouncing their role in the Jan. 6 insurrection.

SchottHappens The court will dismiss that. I bet money!

SchottHappens Extremist stupidity!

SchottHappens Did you ask them if they are from the political right, or are you assuming? Maybe they know something you are afraid to look at.

SchottHappens Delusion runs deep in that family.

Today is also the two year anniversary of the FBI and Ray Epps led entrapment PsyOp.

This court case has a potential of having a larger impact than the Supreme Court's abortion ruling

There's a whole sheep heard here.

Utah wingnuts.

The altered state of mind of some people, and the lawyers willing to take money from needs to end with embarrassment and disbarment. Trump, Lee and company tried to steal an election. Period. They failed even w/ an insurrection.

Who is paying for this crap?

What a joke. It won't happen, but wouldn't it be ironic if the court sided with the brothers today and the presidency went to Patty Murray because the House Republicans can't get their act together?
