Tara Boghosian, one of Walker's lawyers, appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court by phone Tuesday. Boghosian said Walker elected to have a trial by judge and waived her rights to a jury trial. Walker also waived her right to a preliminary hearing.Walker has been charged with offences including abduction, fraud and identity theft.
She has not yet entered a plea. That is expected during her next court appearance Thursday in Saskatoon.
It's a fairly straightforward case without any grey areas. Dawn clearly understands that the likelihood of being found guilty by a jury is basically 100%. Dawn knows damn well what she did was criminal, yet refuses to take accountability for her actions. It's remarkable.
I hope they throw the book at her!!! Lock up this international criminal up!!!
This case is complex . Where the Offender What's Society to think her criminal action is alright . While having a real high class Lawyer to get her off her multiple criminal charges on both sides. Canada & United States 🇺🇸.
In the past I would have said this was a mistake. But the courts have proven to be a boon to criminals everywhere. Better chance with an over the top permissive judge than any of 12 average people. Tells you something about what we have become.
Try finding 12 people that dont think shes guilty good luck with that.
