Cody Fisher had played for a series of non-league clubs in the Midlands, most recently Stratford Town
The 23-year-old non-league player and school sports coach was stabbed on the dance floor of the Crane nightclub in Digbeth on Boxing Day. Mr Carpenter, of no fixed address, and Mr Gordon, of Cofton Park Drive, Birmingham, were remanded in custody following a four-minute hearing before two magistrates.
They were ordered to reappear before a judge at Birmingham Crown Court on Wednesday. A further hearing was set for 30 January.

I think it's often down to the media , it's so sad when anyone dies. BUT if it had been two white men stabbing a none white man it would probably be classed as a racist attack..but often when it's this way round the murderers usually are said to have mental issues

Any crime that ends in the taking of somebody else’s live should hold a very long term of imprisonment,why would you go to a club with a knife if you didn’t intend to use it,its premeditated so murder can be the only charge,minimum of 30yrs behind bars.
