Not all women agree on abortion, but many of the world’s most influential are using their power and wealth to help women claw back ownership of their bodies.

Some have remained silent on the issue, and others, like far-right Italian prime ministerMany on the list are using their voices and their platforms to advocate for abortion care—and are doing so in a much more visible way than ever before.

“You need to do an assessment of where you have influence and power, and you need to use it,” says Nancy Northup, president of the legal and advocacy group Center for Reproductive Rights. “The more that everyone is vocal, and using the expanse of their power to the extent they can, that is what’s going to turn this around.”

Here’s a look at how some of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women have acted to protect access to reproductive healthcare in 2022: donated $275 million to Planned Parenthood in May, the largest gift from a single donor in the organization’s history. Corporate leaders began implementing benefits for employees who need to travel to access abortion services. Citigroup, led by, was ahead of its corporate peers. In its 2022 proxy statement, which was filed before the draft of the Supreme Court decision was leaked in early May, the bank pledged to provide travel benefits “to facilitate access to adequate resources.

People can understand terminating the unborn that are so damaged that any kind of normal life is impossible. But for those that ARE normal but simply unwanted, abortion is a heinous act.

I wish these 'powerful women' were 'fighting' for the God-given, human right to life of unborn females instead of 'fighting' to kill them. How selfish ! Are they afraid of the competition? When these women die will their wish be they had more time in the office than with family?

IF a woman is finding she’s using abortion as a means of birth control and really doesn’t want to have children, she may want to consider VOLUNTARY sterilization.

What Rights are they denied? To be procrastinating and lazy? Those aren’t exactly a Right

On one hand you're killing babies, but on the other you're giving women the choice to kill their babies.

Is there a law preventing them from screwing males or getting pregnant…or choosing to abstain or use birth control? What state is forbidding or limiting their ability to reproduce?
