The founding partner of a law firm in Dauphin County has been suspended for 18 months after botching at least five civil cases, including not telling a client the details of a divorce settlement she signed that gave up her financial rights.n 2015 after being admitted to the bar, unnecessarily delayed divorces, child custody agreements and financial settlements.

In one case, an attorney at the firm abandoned a woman the day before her court hearing and assigned the case to another attorney, who did not introduce any of the evidence she had shared with both attorneys. It prevented the woman from getting a protection from abuse order. Instead, that client ended up being the subject of one from an abusive former boyfriend and assigned to pay the court costs.
