Kelly Dale Vokas, 42, admitted in Franklin County court to killing John Blanc, 77, and Susan Castore, 75, in 2020 in their Prairie Township home.

by stabbing one and strangling the other with a rope during a 2020 burglary at their Prairie Township home.

Franklin County Common Pleas Judge Michael Holbrook accepted Vokas' guilty plea and scheduled her sentencing for Feb. 24. She faces up to life in prison. Holbrook could sentence Vokas so she is eligible for parole after 37 years. About 3:20 p.m. Oct. 18, 2020, Franklin County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 hang-up call at a home on the 200 block of Carilla Lane in the Lincoln Village subdivision. Officers noted all the doors were locked and that they found no sign of forced entry.
