December 14, 2022The Rivers State Police Command says it has arrested and detained an officer involved in the alleged brutalisation and killing of a 40-year-old truck driver, Cosmos Ozioko in Rivers State.The family of Cosmos Ozioko earlier raised the alarm, demanding justice for his death.But the police told SaharaReporters on Wednesday night that one of the officers has been arrested.

However, the spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command Grace Iringe Koko, told SaharaReporters that one of the officers involved has been arrested and detained.The police spokesperson affirmed that the case has been transferred to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation.
