Disgraced Sinn Fein councillor Jonathan Dowdall is due to testify against Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch , will give evidence against him in the Regency Hotel murder trial on Monday.where the ex-Sinn Fein councillor is due to testify.
Hutch, 59, from the Paddocks in Clontarf, North Dublin, denies the murder of Kinahan gangster David Byrne, who was shot dead at theHis defence team will be allowed to cross-examine Dowdall after he gives his evidence. Dowdall was due to stand trial charged with the same offence but in October he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of facilitating the murder and isGerry Hutch is now in court.
