“When we first came up with the idea 14 years ago, our purpose was to provide law enforcement agencies in our respective circuits with professional development training, at no cost to the law enforcement agencies and close to home,” said Kirke Adams, district attorney for Alabama's 33rd Judicial Circuit serving Dale and Geneva counties.

Level Plains Police Chief Johnny Summers echoed that comment, saying that he appreciated the district attorneys providing the training at no cost to the law officers and so close to home. “It is definitely beneficial and very appreciated,” he said. “The attorney general has been in the courtroom, so his support means a lot to the prosecutors who are here.
