A Hudson County man has sued the developer of Pokémon GO, saying the mobile gaming app and the company’s website discriminate against visually impaired and blind people., which created the popular Pokémon GO played on cell phones and other mobile devices, discriminates against the visually impaired in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
“For example, many features on the website fail to accurately describe the contents of graphical images,” the suit states. The site fails to properly label titles, fails to distinguish one page from another, contains broken links, incomplete headings and other issues, the suit states.
Yeah, that makes sense. A blind person trying to play a game that involves reading a map and driving around.
Oh, come on. What's next? Chevrolet doesn't make cars drivable by visually-impaired users?
