A group of angry ANC members are threatening to take their party to court after failing to make the final list of 200 nominees for the National Executive Committee. This comes ahead of next week’s all-important elective conference.

“We wish to appeal to all ANC comrades… to exercise patience whilst we conduct due diligence necessary for the publication of nomination outcomes and results.”“It is our well-considered view that your objections regarding the electoral processes within the ANC are extremely unfortunate as these are premised on a fundamental misconception of the ANC constitution, as well as the powers, mandate, roles and responsibilities of the electoral committee,” said Motlanthe.

The complainants say the basis for the escalation is premised on rule 12.2.3 of the constitution of the ANC. Essentially, they want the NEC to discuss their grievances at its next meeting, which they say is scheduled for 9 December.

And the circus continues

NEC is the engine of the ANC, you capture it you have yourself an entire organization. They’ll be the first to defend you when you’re found with dollars inside your couch or when you subject your country to continuous darkness because of IPPs despite having tons of coal!

What a pathetic bunch!

The Thirst for power and the greed of money will make you do anything
