Over at the Fashion Awards in London, a series of stars also flew the flag for sustainable fashion.

British’s December cover star Yasmin Finney, meanwhile, wore a velvet gown featuring dramatic sculptural shoulders by rising British designer Harris Reed, who uses upcycled materials in his designs.Iris Law wore a vintage Comme Des Garçons set featuring three-dimensional hands at The Fashion Awards.

While sequins are often a sticking point during party season when thinking about sustainability , Irina Shayk sported afrom H&M, featuring sequins that are made from recycled plastic bottle waste and don’t feature a metallic coating, making them easier to recycle at the end of their life. Part of the brand’s new Metaverse collection, the dress is also available to rent from the retailer’s flagship store on London’s Regent Street from £40.
