“This partnership to create the TD Free Fare Zone is a unique step for our city and it’s actually the first time that a transit agency in Canada has worked with a sponsor to rename a section of its network,” said Gondek. She said the deal will provide TD with a prominent footprint in the core, while providing Calgary Transit with additional non-fare revenue to offset operating costs.Article content
Ghazal said TD believes in the city and the momentum it is seeing as the downtown is revitalized through efforts such as the conversion of office space into residential space.

Crack Alley ?
So sick of TD and their BS in regards to Diversity and Inclusion; taking it waaaaay Over the top! No Christmas decorating this year in the banks because it can offend the minorities. F….ing serious?
Can we at least get some streetcars to Beltline and Inglewood or Kensington out of them if we’re going to name our damn free fare zone after them?
And when will naming rights for John Laurie boulevard get sold to the highest bidder?
It was so nice of the mayor to donate public transit for safe injection, what a peach.
Great idea
So, other than the fact that TD signage will be everywhere downtown at LRT stations for the next five years, no change. Very enlightening.
